Weekend: 5 Bucket List Properties Currently For Sale
From Miami to New York, from London to Lake Como, here are some of our favourite spots up on the market.
113 Eaton Square (London, UK)
£39.5m // $48.7m
We’re starting off close to home in central London. In the heart of Belgravia, 113 Eaton Square sits with the usual imposing white columns and glossy black front door.
Houses on the square are rare indeed, and this is just one of twelve garden facing houses.
For your money you get 9 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and 10,616sq ft of internal space. Granted, there are also some rather dated/funky communal areas, but if you’re looking for a typically British townhouse in the middle of London, this is yours!
Laglio (Lake Como, Italy)
£36.5m // $45m (POA)
We can almost feel the warmth from the sun emanating from the photos of this stunning Italian lakefront property. It really does have pretty much everything you would want, starting with 7 beds and 17 bathrooms (quite a skew on the bed/bath ratio).
It has a wine cellar for 2,000 bottles, an outdoor pool, home cinema, gym etc etc. Yet perhaps the most incredible thing about the villa is the location, on the iconic Lake Como. The views from the front of the house are stunning, and we can imagine taking a stroll around the gardens with an Aperol in the early evening before dinner.
2 Park Place (New York, US)
£47.8m // $59m
The Pennacle penthouse was built back in 1910, but is now for sale combining the penthouse and the 49th floor, overlooking City Hall Park by Tribeca.
As part of buying this, you’ll be hoping the design plans provided do match up to what you want. As the spec reads “it is now being offered providing an opportunity for approximately 12,131 interior square feet encompassing the entire crown of this beloved landmark developed by Alchemy Properties.”
Even when completed, it’s a relatively modest 3 bed, 3.5 bath property, but what sells this (as is the case for most NY $$$) is the view.
3580 S Moorings Way (Miami, US)
£14.5m // $18m
Dare we say it, but at $18m this Miami property in Coconut Grove is actually quite cheap in comparison to other places on this list.
Even better, this private compound offers 3 different individual structures. The main property is a 5 Bedroom 5.5 Bathroom property, which was originally built in 1934 and reinvented in 2008.
It also has a guest property and a 4 car garage.
Given this is Miami, focus is put on the huge walk-in closets, games rooms and of course, the pool.
Cap D’Antibes (Provence, France)
£39.66 // $48.9m
In our opinion, few places in the world can rival the south of France. The class, architecture and general French-ness is something truely special.
This all comes together with the above property, one that has been fully renovated and set on a park of more than 10,000sqm.
It’s a stones throw from the beach, has 13 bedrooms for all your mates to come and stay and relax with the swimming pool, tennis court and 8 car garage.
Also it’s handy to note that ‘included in the price is a waterfront villa of approximately 200 sqm located near the Garoupe beaches’. Just in case you get some more friends…
Let us know which property is your favourite. Enjoy the weekend.
